Program
production - and exchange
The Organization was set on its course and it started its action at the level of
program production and exchange. And despite the scarcity of its resources and the inadequate technical facilities,
IBU managed to produce a substantial number of radio and TV
programs and serials. The General Secretariat reproduced these materials which were its own or which were offered to it, and had them circulated among all member States, Islamic Centers, and philanthropic associations in the Islamic States.
It is worth noting that IBU keeps a number of valuable sets of radio materials in seventeen languages and of TV materials in three languages (Arabic, English and French). These materials are centered around the following themes:
1. Islam, its civilization and heritage.
2. Palestine and Al-Quds.
3. Muslim minorities.
4. Arabic teaching to English and French speakers.
5. The Holy Quran and the immaculate Tradition.
6. Islamic figures.
7. Acts of worship.
8. Topical Islamic issues.
PUBLICATIONS
The Organization has prepared a set of exhaustive studies in Arabic and English aimed at redressing the image of Islam abroad and counteracting the campaigns targeting it, as well as to defend oppressed Muslims across the world. These studies include:
1. A study on redressing the image of Islam
2. Muslims in Central Asia
3. Muslims in Bosnia
4. Exploration study on missionary radios
5. The Islamic States Broadcasting Organization: a ten-year progress.
