The activities of the forty-sixth session of the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank opened on September 2, in the capital city of Tashkent.
His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, participated in this meeting.
His Excellency said that the cooperation package between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Islamic Development Bank includes 30 projects with a total amount of about 2.5 billion dollars in the fields of transportation, housing infrastructure, energy, agriculture, water resources, health, education, business and other fields.
The President of Uzbekistan thanked the leadership of the Islamic Development Bank for their support for the measures taken in Uzbekistan to confront the crisis.
