
ISESCO Director-General, Dr. Salem bin Mohammed al-Malik, and Mauritanian Minister of Culture, Mokhtar Ould Dahi, discussed the bilateral aspects of cooperation of culture and heritage, and the joint organization of a number of activities within the framework.
On this occasion, Dr.Al-Malik said that the organization is ready to cooperate with the Ministry in supporting and implementing cultural projects and programmes including the preservation of ancient and historical Mauritanian cities. and the nomination of Nouakchott to be the capital of Islamic culture, as a city rich in its heritage, history, thinkers, and historians.
