The Arab League celebrates World Humanitarian Day under the slogan "Race for Humanity", in cooperation with the United Nations Regional Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Middle East and North Africa.
The Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Social Affairs Sector at the League of Arab States, Ambassador Dr. Haifa Abu-Ghazaleh, said that this year's celebration revolves around the climate change crisis and its impact on health, social, humanitarian, economic, and other aspects, which requires the International and regional organizations are uniting their efforts to confront the climate change crisis to mitigate its humanitarian repercussions on those affected, especially with the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, which has affected all aspects of life.
