A group of doctors initiated the first radio station specialized in the health field with the aim of guiding citizens towards a healthy life and contributing to supporting national efforts to manage the Coronavirus. Tariq Al-Barhoumi, director of Al-Hayat Radio FM, said that the idea of the health radio is an extension of the work of the “Kairouan Medical Association”, which was established in 2007. The association took a long way to advance in the health sector through the continuous training of doctors and medical research and health education. He added: "We chose the media path so that the information reaches the people directly through this specialized radio station to improve the health field".
